Welcome to the webpage for a brand new Sportive event based in the Scottish Borders.

The Borders Ciclista is very different to any other Sportive event in the UK. Based on a Spanish sportive format, it combines the fun and relaxation of a mass ride, the challenge of covering a large distance and the semi-competive elements provided by timed sections.

Admire the fanstic scenary on offer in the Borders, while also testing yourself over 76 miles, including a handful of tough climbs and blistering discents.

It's for Charity!

This years event is being run to raise awareness and funds for Action Medical Research (www.action.org.uk). All profits from the event will go to the charity, including funds raised from the sale of the custom event jersey (see below).

Event Supporters and Organisers

The event is being supported by Torq Nutrition, who are helping with the feed station supplies, and Borders Cycles who are helping with the website, jersey and event organisation. Otherwise though the event is run entirely by volunteers from the local area.
